Fresh to the DMC Watch lineup is the brand new 1981 Chronograph collection, named after the year the first DeLorean rolled off the assembly line. With a generous 42 mm stainless steel case equipped with a duo of chronograph pushers and a tachymeter scale, the DMC 1981 Chronograph carries on the same sporty spirit of the iconic DeLorean car.The Dial. The Watch Dashboard
Like the dashboard of a car, the dial of the watch tells you everything you need to know. At the center of the dial—available in black or silver—sits the hour and minute hands. And because the chronograph hand takes the traditional place of the seconds’ hand, the seconds are instead displayed in a sub dial at 6 o’clock. At the 9 o’clock position is the 30-minute totalizer. This sub dial records how long the chronograph hand has been running, up to 30 minutes in total. Located at the top of the dial is the 24-hour sub dial, which serves as a day/night indicator. If the hand on the 24-hour sub dial is pointing to “6” then it is 6 AM but if it points to “18” then it is 6 PM. Finally, tucked in between 4 and 5 o’clock is a discreet date window.Bracelets and Straps
The new DMC 1981 Chronograph offers two different band styles to keep the watch securely and comfortably on your wrist. For a more formal touch, opt for the classic black leather strap fitted with a steel tang buckle. Alternatively, if you prefer a sportier style, then the matching robust stainless steel three-link bracelet equipped with a butterfly clasp is the perfect pairing.
nice watch and box.
Beautiful watch purchased as a gift for hubby he absolutely loves it.
yooooooo this is such a beautiful watch. it really grows on you. and its cool that you can find new things everytime. for example the dial glows in the dark, I didnt know that neither it did say anything about glowing in the dark on the website or such.

Nice watch very satisfied 😊
I’m not usually one to fall for ads, but I’m a Back To The Future fan so this watch was a must-have. I mostly bought it for the nostalgia aspect, but was pleasantly surprised by how well the watch was made. I wish it was automatic, but that’s not a huge issue for me. The case size is perfect for me, and the bracelet is a little loose but overall better than I expected. The clasp seems well made. I kind of wish the entire case wasn’t polished so that it wouldn’t be as much of a fingerprint magnet. The chrono buttons are surprisingly easy to press, the crown is a good size and easy to set. I love the design of the face, with all indicators applied. The recessed subdials add a lot of depth, and I just love looking at the face and how the light hits everything at different angles. I gave it 4 stars because I have 2 issues with it. In the description on the website, it says the chrono hand is the main “second hand”, while the subdial at 6 is seconds. This is not the case, it’s a regular second hand and the subdial starts with the chrono, rendering the tachymeter almost useless. I also wish the totalizer was numbered. Overall though, a great watch for the money and this will most likely become a daily wear for me!
I've worn this watch regularly for the past several weeks and I'm very happy with both the looks and quality of it. At this price the watch is also a great bargain. If you like the looks, grab one now, you can't go wrong.
They need to make a watch that looks like the Deloreans BTTF Flux Capacitor.
